    Hi All,

We are hoping to set up a free wedding website in the next month or so. I have looked at wedding mapper, as recommended here, for adding a location to your website.
Our venue has recommended Moposa to us but I'm not sure I like that one.
Has anyone any experience of wedding websites and have you any feedback/recommendations to pass on please? Thanks.

weddingsonline.ie offers a pretty good one once you have an account on there.

Check with your hotel too, ours gave us access to create a wedding site on Moposa which is really handy as it lets you use your guestlist for RSVP's and includes your table layout as agreed with the hotel to do your place settings with.

    Thanks for the replies.
By free, I mean we don't want to pay to set up a wedding website.
The google idea seems good alright...as regards location, we don't need much detail but inclduing some kind of google map might be a handy thing to do.

I wasn't crazy about the layout of the Moposa one but I might have a look at it again t double check. Handy that the venue supply access to it too.

I really recommend Moposa, it's so easy to use and handy as Sleepy said, guests can rsvp and book their rooms in your hotel through the website. You can add as many sections as you want, as you probably know....we've pages for local accomodation, local taxis, directions, pics of the bridal party and ourselves, things to do in the area....I could go on!

Moposa is also great though because you can use it for your budget (they give you a list of everything to do with a wedding and you can add or delete items), a list of tasks that need to be done before the wedding, you can sort your guestlist and control your rsvps, and also do your tableplan and send it straight to the hotel.

I didn't try out any other sites as I got moposa for free so maybe it's not what you're looking for, but I do think it's great as it's linked to your hotel.

Moposa has a free app now too, in the Apple and Play stores.

It's worth adding free doesn't always mean free. We had a look at these for our wedding and the ones that seem free to begin with (no names mentioned!!) seem not to be free once you sign up. Things that you'd expect to be free they'd try charge you then. Saying they are free is a bit missleading. We went with www.weddingpixie.com in the end. Riley Grey is lovely too a bit pricey though.

Mod note: As this thread is 5 years old and had very few posts, I don't think it needs to be left open. There are also several current threads about wedding websites, so I'm closing this one.
