Magic Mouse Alternative

So I have a magic mouse at the moment and while I love the build quality and form, I absolutely despise bluetooth

It's constantly disconnecting (as is my cheapy bluetooth keyboard, so I guess it's a bluetooth problem), and gets even more awkward when I switch between OSX and Windows. :( I'm using a blutooth dongle, but have another one ordered to see if that's the problem.

I was wondering is there any decent alternatives out there that use RF (or even wired), but still have all the same multi tough gestures (two finger tap and two finger swipe being the important ones for me)?

Looks comfortable, but from what I read online doesn't have the gestures I want (or even horizontal scrolling):(

It has horizontal scrolling for me, and i use an application called BetterTouchTool to set up my own gestures

That software looks great, do all the gestures work with it that mouse? Really can't do without my two finger swipe :p

I haven't tried that with it, but i say it could. I don't have the mouse on me at the moment so i can't try

I saw that Logitech touch mouse in PC World the other day and was very tempted to get it. I love the Magic Mouse, but Bluetooth is indeed a pain. Anytime I download something large the mouse pointer slows to a crawl. Getting an n router would fix it, maybe, but I'm not sure it's worth the expense over a bloody mouse.

Telchak, does the wireless USB thing for the mouse work in the keyboard port?

Just wondering.....do you have any other blue tooth items that are interfering with the mouse? Maybe phone? I have a magic mouse at work and it kept disconnecting, driving me nuts. Took me a while but eventually realized it was due to a colleagues blue tooth headphones.....every time he walked past my mouse disconnected :P.
