My neighbour has a 07 passat 1.9 105bhp highline model

    Just got timing belt/tyres/flywheel done
    Nct for a year
Has leather + alloys etc, top spec model

whats it worth? prices seam to differ alot on donedeal?
also what people look for and actually get are 2 diff things
looking to purchase for my father
clean car needs nothing only road tax
    Is it worth 7k?

    thanks

An 08 2l tdi is worth about 10000, a highline is worth maybe 10500 or 11. Id say the 07 is worth 7. Problem is finding someone who wouldnt rather pay another 3 and get the low tax newer version. Could be a while waiting though.

    cool thanks
its funny how people would spend another 3k for a 08 reg just to save what 400e a year tax? but yes you are right
this is 1.9 so much better engine than 2.0

might use the tax as bargaining tool but hes firm on 7k

I wouldn't blame him tbh, seems quite reasonably priced to me, well specced too.

7000 is a fair price once timing belt and it has an nct etc. both the buyer and seller are getting a fair price. a colleague of mine is selling a 140km 07 higline that is a little rough around the edges. He wont budge below 8k. He is dreaming imho as i sold an 08 comfortline last year for 10950 with 150km on it. And only just. 7k is a good price. not a total bargain but nowhere near overpriced

    2007.tdi passat private........

7k for a good one, 6/6.2 up to a half for a more ropey one ....it's all about milage, condition, histroy, test and spec on these that can get you good dollars on them.
