Hi guys. Quick question. tried to connect a new laptop to my home wifi . when i input my password a new window pops up looking for user name and password. Never encountered this before. Is it a setting on the new laptop or something to do with my wifi ? Thanks

Its probably a User Account Control window thats part of windows if your using an account thats not set as an Administrator account.

Can you give us a screenshot or anything?

    Yeah it makes sence ;)

I know you said "new" but is it a brand new laptop or second hand?
You'll need the name and password of the admin account to connect and possibly even installing stuff depending on how restricted the standard user account is.
