Rte announce they will show coverage of the European athletics Championships from Helsinki this June/July.

    Rte Coverage

Wednesday June 27th = No coverage
    Thursday June 28th = 4.25pm - 6.25pm
    Friday June 29th = 6pm - 8.40pm
    Saturday June 30th = 8pm - 9pm
    Sunday July 1st = 4pm - 6pm

The Timetable is out for athletics on the european athletics website under Helsinki link.

Just wondering is the timetable on the Helsinki website finland time ??? or irish time ??

Would imagine that it is local time just because of the domain (finnish domain rather than .com) and also having a look at events on the last day makes most sense that It would cover mens 100m relays etc.

Once the time table pops up on this you will be able to have option of your time or local time which should answer your question:

    The rte co
coverage times would make alot more sense if the timetable was finland time....
Otherwise some big finals would be missed with potential irish in them finals.

Yep, the PDF format of the timetable on the EAA website will be local time Helsinki. Coming nearer to the event there will be an option to click to display the timetable relevant to our time.

Timetable looks to be works around the European championship semi-finals and final. Direct clashes on the Wed, Thurs and Sun.

Surprised they clash so badly since are both major European sports events.
