My 1.8Tfsi audi needs a new water pump.
Now, audi dont sell the pump by itself, you must buy the pump and complete thermostat housing and this costs about €170 for the part.
Aftermarket, it is possible to get just the pump at a normal price but Im wondering if there is any reason that audi want to replace the entire housing?
Anyone with any experience of this particular setup shine any light on it?
At least it looks like a straight forward enough job to do.
