Phone strap/Holder

I use my mobile phone to track my runs (i hear alot of people talking about garmin watches but for the amount of running i do, it would be a bit pricey). On a few occasions i take my phone out of my pocket to check my progress, but when i take the phone out again i notice that it has paused. I realise with it been touch screen it probably happens when i take put it back in.
I have a screen lock facility on my phone but i find it a bit of a pain to enter the pin when i am running.
Can anyone advise of any decent straps or holders that are available.

I use something similar to this, as does my wife. It didn't cost much so it was worth trying out and it works really well.

Thanks. That might just be what i am looking for. I have a Samsung Galaxy Y, i wonder would it fit that phone also. Do you have the same phone that they advertise it for?

I do have that phone but there are straps to suit almost every phone. Here are the results of a search on Ebay for your phone:
