Hi all: Any advice on renting direct from owners, via websites etc like www.ownersdirect.com ie: can we offer lower prices, if apartment still available and near to time? that sorta thing..other sites etc... cheers...I Need The Sun:)

Personally I wouldn't offer a lower price but may ask for the best price they could offer if your arrival date was very close.
Some of those websites will tell you how long the advertiser has been with them, the longer the better
