Anyone in Cork interested in joining a new book group specifically to read apocalypse and post apocalypse fiction/non fiction?

Something along the lines of this group in London

    http://post-apocalypticbookclub.co.uk/

At the moment first meeting likely to be sometime during week beginning 11th June with the first book being Terry Nation's 'Survivors'.

    Venue yet to be decided

Will be tweeting details #rtapocalypse @Entropy9212

    Any takers?

Probably better off in the Cork forum?

Better off posting round there. And ask a mod via pm first, lest ye be branded a spammer.

This would get people who live close to Cork and might be interested in travelling there for something like this.

In a way I'd be interested, but I'm lazy.

From AH, Cork mods will decide if it's spam.

I'm ok with it. But if another Cork mod thinks otherwise that's fine too!

A quick update, there is now an official meetup page:

    http://www.meetup.com/Reading-the-Apocalypse/

Still in development but you get the idea and it will allow you to express an interest. Yet to sort out a venue but it will probably be somewhere in Cork City.

Why not head over and like it and make a date for the 12th June to read 'Survivors'
