    just what the title says, would my NCB bonus be affected if I use Breakdown Assistance?

    Check your policy. It's surely stated there.
    I'm with Allianz and it doesn't affect mine, but every insurer might be different.

    I am with Aviva and have used breakdown assist a few times and no claim discount not affected.

    Breakdown assist has nothing to do with your bonus -its just a policy extra benefit.

    It shouldnt do; Ive used mine several times. Then again windscreen cover shouldnt either but Ive heard of people having increased premiums because of it, so the best (and only) people to ask is your insurer.
