you will need a new cable and software. you could try vagdrivers for someone in your area if its only 1 thing you want to do. other than that try these crowd

Try this. when you enter the new coding. Change it up and down using the tabs on screen. Just move the code up and back down again to the required value.
For example, if you were changing a particular segment from 20 to 15. Type in 15 then click it up to 16 and back to 15 again and then do it. Might work.

That did not work but if its something to do with not been the full version would it not say that instead of saying code accepted ??

I have seen this problem before and as said above, getting the required data in there by any other way than actually typing it straight in worked. Don't go rushing out buying any more kit yet. I will have a look a mine tomorrow.
What mod are you doing? I've got A few on my a5. Had no issues, changed behaviour of LED lights, activated dipping mirror when reversing and a few more bits.

    Thats great thanks

Im putting in the Xenon headlights in an audi a4 B8 so need to turn on the LEDs and change the code to make the Xenon light up

But will need to come out for the NCT, because headlight washers i needed a far as i know. So wll be using it a good few times, also was looking it up there some cool things ya can turn on and off.

That will be great if you can look your one up thanks.

The code im changing is in under 09 - Central electrics its byte 00 14 and 15 there no other way of chaging this other than typing it in i think, i cant see any arrows to change the numbers up and down

Are you happy that control module in your car is compatible with xenons?

No it needs to be changed to one ending in "D" but this is only for high and low beam I'll get that sorted sometime I'll b happy using. The low beam for a wile

The NCT doesn't require washers for Xenons.

That's something that is required when the car is built new, not when they are retrofitted.

i've never heard of anyone failing an NCT for having Retro fitted them. i've personally put three cars through with them.

Nope. Lined a new car up against the shed and lined them off that.
