I hope someone here can give me some advice as to where to start:)
I am in my late 30's and would love to return to education, namely midwifery.
I had a look at TCD's site but tbh couldn't make a lot out of it.
    Anyone help???:o
    Have you done something similar?
Where did you begin and what did you have to do on your journey?
Cheers for as much info as possible folks:)

Did you just check out the main site or have you checked out the mature specific site? http://www.tcd.ie/maturestudents/
There is also a link to the mature students guide on this page http://www.tcd.ie/maturestudents/content/pdf/booklet_maturestudents.pdf

And the mature student officer Clodagh Byrne is very helpful if you have further questions mature.student.officer@tcd.ie

    Thanks for the reply.
I did view those links but not sure where to go from there with them:o
I did email the student officer there before but never got back to me.

Sorry - misread your post. You may have seen from other threads that the colleges are working through a lot of the applications now and interviewing. You will have to apply through the CAO next January, so you have plenty of time to optimise your application.

There is more info here http://www.qualifax.ie/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=588&Itemid=218

I don't know much about the application process for Nursing, but others may be able to help. Maybe start a new post with something about nursing and midwifery in the title. Also its exam time now so it might take a few days to get a response.
