    Hi everyone,
I am trying to organise a present for my husband for our first wedding anniversary. We went on honeymoon to Australia and he LOVED the snorkeling along the great barrier reef. I understand the experience will not be the same here but I want to get him a voucher or a day out snorkeling in Ireland...so can anybody recommend where would be the best place for him to go snorkelling here. Would really appreciate some help/ info on where would be the best place to go.
    Thanking you all in advance
    Taurus

He runds freediving lessons in mullaghmore near sligo / bundoran has a face book page and wbe site.

He has all the gear your husband would need and could easily do something between freediving and snorkeling

You could also get him membership in a diving club that has active snorkeling people. What part of the country are you in?

A year of snorkeling membership will probably be less than €200. Buying your own gear will be cheap if you go to lidl on thursday:

Could probably pick up a wetsuit on divegear.ie/donedeal.ie/adverts.ie for less than €100.

Give Scubadive West a ring. They're up the road from you in Renvyle.

They have all the gear, and could bring your hubby out as a snorkeller when going on a dive. They would drop him in closer to the coast of course.

Why not arrange for him to do a Try-a-Dive (Discover Scuba) with them while he's at it?
Before you know it you would both want to re-visit a coral reef somewhere nice and warm.

This is called creating the circumstances for a multi-dimensional holiday.

    Cheers!

Cleared a little by Friday so got to 40m again then on Sat got 42 and sat afternoon 44. 45 would have sounded nicer but anywya no complaints. will have a vid of the manta and whale shark by the end of the week I hope.

haha yeah I will be in slightly colder water by about 20 degrees on friday. To be fair the great thing there is its on the reef so 20m from shore, you walk out the floating pontoon and in you dive. Great set up
