Nice spec. 2.0tdi is the smart choice if buying new in Ireland. What was total list?

Also with regards ordering i received quite a few messages about dealers etc, i decided to go to all the audi garages in the country and went with the place that gave me the best price without knowing someone etc, The Audi Centre Ballsbridge was the cheapest by far.

Well i was delaying ordering as wanted to make sure i had the cash, I had the Car built with the Dealer, The weekend i ordered audi brought out a Limited Edition package, Memory Seats, Sat Nav, and Upgraded leather for 1500euro (great value) however Audi forgot to incl that the upgraded leather does not apply to S-line (as its 1000euro more expensive that standard se leather upgrade) The Dealer i bought it from pushed it and Audi agreed to cover the extra cost of the leather upgrade so was delighted with that...

Fab colour, I love the discrete roof rails too. What a great car.

BTW I have dealt with Audi Ballsbridge recently too and found them great.

Beautiful machine and lovely choice on the colours

I find Audi streets ahead of the other luxury dealers in terms of customer service and their service dept costs are extremely competitive

    Big thumbs up

Wouldn't agree with the customer service part tbh I went to more or less all the Audi garages. Found some sales ex awful didn't have a clue any of the standard questions I asked. And very pushy. Two Dublin dealers were excellent to deal with. Sales ex in ballsbridge was excellent even the questions I didn't expect him to know that I had for him due to my vast research on the car he knew straight off. No pushy phone calls. Most dealers didn't want me to order new they wanted me to buy a stock car. Not once did he mention it to me. He knew what I wanted and what I wanted I got. Even if the Audi was more exepensive I would of went with them but thankfully they were alot cheaper.

Cant understand why anybody would need a satnav in Ireland!
especially at 3 and half large,
    very nice bus btw.im jealous!

Completely agree the 3500k sat nav is the top spec sat nav with google earth. I'm getting the basic sat nav/memory seats and upgraded leather for 1500 which to be honest you can't go wrong with. Would of love the upgraded sat nav but I wasn't allowed :(

If you want I'll pm you the guy that I was dealing with if you havent sourced elsewhere. Well what bought th a6 for me was the popup screen(sad I know)

Ment to add for that 1500 limited edition pack I also got 3 years (instead of 2) warranty and 3 years servicing incl.

While I found the sales guys in Ballsbridge very good when I went in to them, they were very poor in following up with me afterwards. I had been in to look at several A3's and was told to ring/email them to arrange test drives and never got a response when I did.

But well wear your new A6 OP. The old man picked one up a few weeks back and it is a great piece of kit. But oddly, I have to admit I provided the interior of his 09 A4 to the A6. The A6 just seems overly minimalist and looks barren in comparison. I also think the screen with the big black plastic trim around it looks a little ridiculous in such a big car.

1500 for the three upgrades is much better! Your wife was wise to not let you upgrade the Sat nav! You'd be paying 6 euro a day to keep the fancy sat nav parked in Dublin long term when you really need it - on holidays!
Use the 3,500 to head for Inglestat for a plant tour instead and rent a Porsche for the week!

Great car! Im sure it will be a very nice feeling taking delivery of that brand new:)

I placed an order last week and have a 12 week lead time, got various upgrades but with only 2 yr warranty. After reading your post I checked with Audi, seems the offer for 3 + 3 only ran for 1 week in March.

BTW, I wasn't impressed with Audi in Ballsbridge, the sales team appeared lame which didn't impress me and as I wasn't wearing an orange sash, their best offer failed by some distance. In contrast Audi North were excellent, a great showrooms with impressive facilities a very large number of models and variations on display (in contrast to a handful in Ballsbridge). They wre slow with follow-up. Even had they made a better offer I would have declined it.

    Good luck with new car.

Yeah it was a Special offer in March Guy In Ballsbridge told me hold off as such and Paid off, I suppose people have difference experiences in different dealers... I found them great that they took me seriously as a 27year old ordering one tbh...

I'm assuming you order the saloon? As theres more than 12 weeks wait with the Avant..

No need to go into the background but it resulted in my decision to cancel my A6 order and have ordered an alternative (BMW 5) from another dealership instead.

Can't go wrong with the 5series. Lovely car was my second choice.

    Absolutely rotten jealous OP.

The interiors on the new Audis are something else. Fantastic car.

From an aesthetic point of view (both exterior and interior) the 6 series is much better than the new 5 series.

did you collect your car? Spotted a very good offer on new A6 and Avant with Sline specs in last weekend's newspaper.

Still waiting patiently for my BlackMagic5 due mid July.

    ;)

Off to Rome tomorrow till Tuesday and collecting the car Saturday! Almost got on the boat 2 weeks ago but missed it by a day! I'm not a very patient person at the best of times but this has thrown me over the edge. I dunno how true it is. But there was a 6 week backlog in the avants but managed to skip ahead of that. It would seem its true as a few uk orders ordered a few weeks before me and they are only getting built now.

Powerhouse - enjoying your new car? Finally collected my Black Magic 5 yesterday. Really impressed and never been so close to an 'ultimate driving experience'.
