back up power source for fridge

    Hi, The last time ESB cut the power, I was only given 2 days notice. Does anyone know where I could get an alternative power supply unit to power the fridge for , say, up to 24hrs during the next power cut? Thanks in advance

    Your fridge should stay cold for 12 hours if door not opened should be enough time maybe not

    I meant to say fridge/freezer
    looke like car battery, charger and inverter is the way to go
