i've been with eircom for a few months now and the dsl feed keeps dropping in and out every 5 min or so. i thought it might be a wiring problem so i rewired using cat-5 cable. now it seemed to have worked for a week and then when the weekend hit it started happeneing again. im on the 7mb package and never had this problem before while i was on the 3mb package. why should it work flawlessly for a week the suddenly start happening again?

    Thread moved to eircom forum.

Line stats would help to determine the source of the problem.
