Learner Permit, again

After a number of years without a car (10) during which my last, second, Provisional as it was then expired I recently started into the process of getting one of the new, Learner, permits as we're considering getting a car in the near-mid future. I've done my theory test without any issue but my confusion, which I hope you folks can address, is this:

On a persons first Learner permit they may not take the 'full' test until 6 months after acquiring the permit and 12 hours of certified instruction. Learners on their second or subsequent permit may take their 'full' test at any point.

So, here's my question. As the period of expiry of my Provisional was so long ago does that mean I'm treated as being on my first Learner permit or am I on my third 'learner type' permit? (as I've had two Provisionals in the past). I've had a look online at the Dublin Corpo website and the citizens advice bureau without any clarification on this that I could find so anything you can provide, even if it's a suggestion on the best authority to contact to clear this up, would be appreciated.

Did you have to re-do the theory test?

If your previous license is expired for more than 5 years, then you're on a "first" permit.

Rats - well thank you in any case Stark and, yep, had to do the Theory test (first time) on this permit Tallon - my previous Provisional hadn't required it.
