    Hi
Has anybody a solution to this problem?.
In the past I have painted over, water sealer, aluminium foil, Isopon, with no success, is there a PVC or Aluminium solution to this problem and is it the answer to the problem it effects thousand of homes in Ireland.Any idea of cost.?
A neighbour had got new PVC windows in and a year later got a man to knock the front of the old sills out replacing them with poured concrete into home made wooden molds it seemed to work.

    Hi
I am sorry ,the rust comes from the metal re-enforcing bars in the cills the rust comes through the paint you can see it as brown areas on the window cill. As mentioned earlier many older houses have this problem.
    Thanks again
