Interview Dresscode Advice

I have an interview today for a part time job doing deliveries for Tesco. I have managerial experience but don't want to emphasise that much because I want to fit in with the average delivery driver.

For this reason instead of suiting up I was going to wear black trousers and a plain shirt. I thought jeans was a step too far.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

My view is that jeans should never under any circumstances be worn at an interview.
If not wearing a suit I recomment wearing a tie at least.
If you err let it be on the side of being ' over dressed '.

Cheers for that. I'm thinking just to throw on the full suit now just to be safe.
