Parking at the Red Cow P&R

    Hi

I have to come up to Dublin on Thursday and head into the Stephen's Green area. I could drive in and park in a multi-storey car park, or park at the Red Cow P& R and take the Luas in (that would certainly be more economical I suppose). I'm wondering would there normally be spaces at say, 9am, or would the P&R be full at that time ?

    Thanks

There are a lot of Junkies hanging around the Red Cow Luas stop recently.

The Red Line Luas (that stops at the Red Cow) does not go to St Stephens Green. The Green Line Luas does. That's the one that starts in Sandyford/Bride's Glen & terminates at Stephens Green. If you get the red line Luas into town from the Red Cow, you'll still have a 20 minute walk or bus ride over to Stephens Green. The Green Line has park'n'ride facilities at Carrickmines, Stillorgan, Sandyford and Balally.

The daily parking rate at the Stephens Green Shopping Centre is 10 euros. You'll spend 5-8 euros riding the Luas/bus to Stephens Green.

Sounds like driving in is the way to go, thanks for your help.

It's 4 euro to park for a day at red cow, luas to Abbey Street is 2.20 single. About a 10 minute walk from there to Stephens Green

I haven't seen any. It's the most remote stop of all..and most likely to have staff hanging around for changeovers.
