Noticed a bird circling over the city centre, originally i thought it had a pretty big wing span but it actually land on the bell tower of St. Johns cathedral on Thomas street, it was joined there shortly afterwards by another. One flew off at speed and returned with a pigeon in its claws and went inside the steeple with the pigeon.
Larger than a Kestrel, grey body, back was darker slate grey colour so im presuming peregrine falcon?

Have a clear view of the church tower from the sitting room but no sign of them yesterday. Would they be likely to use the tower as regular spot?
