The rail from Redwolf, arrived.
Hit a slight problem though, the rail was intended for a 19mm rail (Ares/Star) instead of G&G/Army Armament's 20mm rail.
a few websites said that it was a layer of paint that caused the 1mm increase on the G&G, but I'm fairly certain after the amount of filing and so on that this is in correct.
I know how ever have the rail adapter mounted onto my L85 and can be certain its not going any where during a game.
To get the rail attached I ended up sanding, and using a Dremel with a sanding disk.
Eventually I ended up using carefully aimed bashes from a hammer to get the rail in place. (and a piece of wood to prevent damaging the rail)
Pretty happy with this rail now though
