Throughout the father ted series there is a framed picture on the mantle piece of Jack Charlton and his assistant manager Maurice Setters.

Would anyone have any clue what the exact picture is?

Want to get it framed for a serious fr ted fanatic!

I'd say it's a copyrighted shot so maybe try the photo agencies and newspapers?

Reckon it was taken between 86 and 88 myself

I'd say it was from Ireland v England in Euro 88... This is an image from the same game and they are wearing the same colour suits... could be a coincidence I know but that's where I would start...

Cant find that image from the show anywhere though.. and I've googled quite a bit..

Bit of a long shot but if you were to try to contact one of the show's writers via Twitter or whatever, they may be able to point you in the direction of the set designer or something like that.

Other then that, take a good quality screenshot and ask in the soccer forum and maybe the forum on YBIG.ie.

For some reason, something tells me its from Belgium V Ireland in the the Euro88 qualifiers in late '86.
