Using Relatives Commercial Property

    Hi there

I am starting up my own business and my father owns a factory/office unit. He has told me that I can use it rent free to give me a leg up and get me started in my business. It is currently up for sale/to let, so I would be using it on the understanding that if they got a paying tenant for it or got an offer on it (not likely i know!) that I would move out. My question is, is there any revenue implication here as he would not be renting it for market value? Don't want to put him in a situation with the revenue.

    Thanks

Thanks for reply. Yes definitely will be liable for rates pro rata, this has already been agreed. Just want to be sure about the revenue side of things before I go any further!
