    Hi folks,

    I currently have 4 Nankang tyres fitted in my Mondeo Estate. I have checked reviews and forums about the big premium ones, Michelin, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Dunlop, Goodyear.

    205/55/R16

    Many people say about the same tyre and model tha they are happy with them and other that they are very disappointed, difficult to make up my mind

    I have used Pirelli, in the past, I don't remember the model and I remember to be a bit noisy. I used Dunlop and they were fine. Never used Continental, Michelin or Bridgestone.

    The best reviews I see online is about the Bridgestone Turanza ER300, but then again, I never used them.

    I care a lot about noise, comfort and grip. I don’t travel much, so I don’t care much about how quick they worn out. some will worn more quicker than others, but being all premium I assume that they will somehow be durable.

    Thanks!

    Hi,I fitted Continental premium contact 2 to our mk3 mondeo,i found them great in the wet,Great all rounder to be honest.
    when i bought it it came with cheap tyres & i noticed a huge difference when i changed over.http://www.camskill.co.uk/m62b0s291p61010/CONTINENTAL_TYRES_CAR_CONTINENTAL_PREMIUM_CONTACT_2_ECO_CONTIPREMIUMCONTACT_2_ECO_-_205_55R16_91H_TL_:)

    If it was my money I would buy a set of Bridgestones. There is a new Turanza T001 now which replaces the ER300. They should be available for approx €95 each fitted and balanced which is great value for a premium tyre.

    The most common are H & V
    H= speed up to 210kph
    V=speed up to 240kph
