When do the exam results come out and when are repeats?

Booking flights at the moment and need to see whether its worth risking banking on me passing everything first time round!

The date of the results for your course will be published at some stage this month on the examinations website. My course was around the 20th June last year and it was one of the later ones.
To the best of my knowledge repeats are in August!

I think repeats are usually around late August early September

Repeats are Monday 27 August to Friday 7 September 2012.

Late June for results sounds good. Pretty quick turnaround.

Middle of May and still no timetable up for results... Seeing as going to appeals happens in the days afterwards (and involves a student's attendance) you think they would have sorted the schedule by now!

The TSM Office emailed us about ours ages ago... Maybe try emailing your school/department?

Yeah I see the Senior Tutor's webpage contains a list of dates for various Schools/Faculties for the first round appeals!

Is that for Freshman or Sophister results? Usually the latter come out two weeks before the former

The results themselves? Yes, but it's usually right at the last minute/a couple minutes after the deadline.

What appeals are you talking about?

If you want to appeal an exam result to the College for any reason, the deadline is *very* tight (as I recall, less than a week after the results come out).

Friday 8th June @ 2 pm is me.

And yes - the appeals are tight. Its in the regulations somewhere. Start complaining first - unlike sex, far easier to withdraw it than insert later.

I never thought I'd hear appeals compared to sex...

This depends on the course - they're not published by the exams office. Depending on what you're studying, they might put them up on a noticeboard or maybe they have an internal site. Check with your course coordinator or school office about when and where your particular results will be put.

When it says on the Undergraduate Examinations page that results will be posted on the notice-board of the relevant department at a certain time, how soon afterwards do they appear online?

Generally by the end of the day.

I'm pretty sure the Exams Office do it themselves.
