If your battery doesnt have a port for the torpedo plug just Cut it off and connect it straight to the battery they are a disaster for overheating and melting! Have you checked the fuse in the torpedo plug ya?

Have it fixed. It was their original connection that had broken the one that has the bit of shrink tape on it. Done a macgyver on it shes working grand now.
