Pain behind knee

Howdy, a couple of times during my Lsr's, I have being getting a pain behind my left knee. I think its on the ligaments/tendons? that are behind the knee.
Like today, after 14km i started getting a stabbing pain and had to stop and do a few streches. It went away after another few kms, but is now fairly painful and stiff a few hours later.
    Anyone got experience with this?

    Thanks, Mr.W.

[*]We do not give out medical advice. Injuries may have common symptoms but are unique to the individual - just because you were able to keep training with X injury or were out for months because of Y doesn't mean that the same will apply to someone else. Bad advice given here and followed through could aggravate an injury and prevent an athlete making a full recovery in as rapid a time as possible. This restriction is Boards-wide and purposely heavy-handed. So don't feel offended if your thread about a sprained ankle (which you may deem "non-medical") gets locked.

Mod: Unfortunately we are unable to give medical advice as per charter. Please seek professional medical advice for treatment. I will leave this thread open so that people can recommend physios/ physical therapists they have had experience with

    (Sorry about that Mods.):o
    Hi all,
Quick question about the price of a physio session, there are a few here in Mallow, what is an acceptable/ standard charge, so I'll
know I'm not being ripped off!?

    Thanks. Mr.W.
