Broken finger while playing Tag Rugby

    I broke my little finger on my right hand in tag training on thursday went to the hospital and its all strapped up hurts like hell though!! Just wondering how long does it take to heal as want to get out playing again?

    might be best to ask the doctors that, you can break your finger in many different ways and severities so we can't tell when all will be back to normal

    Its gonna be safe to play again a lot sooner then it feels better. Injuries to fingers and thumbs remain painful for a long time after they've become functional again.

    Just a note on tag though.

    If you're anything like guys I've played with your biggest problem going back to tag is going to be confidence. When you know you're carrying an injury on your hand it can be pretty difficult to reach out and try and make the tag. If for the first game or two you feel like you're missing tags you used to make, don't worry too much about it. Its natural.

    No point asking here for an assessment of your injury.

    Get the advice of professionals who can actually look at your hand. Any advice here is no better than guesswork.
