cycling trip to France including Etape

    Hi everyone, is anyone interested in taking my place on a fantastic Etape du tour weeklong Package - July 2nd. to July 9th. with onyourbike.ie. i regretfully can’t do the tour due to a neck and back injury caused by a car crashing into me in Oct. 2011.
    The cost of the package is –

    - Tour - € 1,240.00

    - Single room supplement - € 420.00

    - Flights/return – (Aer lingus) - € 283.98

    - Cost to change name on flights - € 80.00

    Note 1 – cannot transfer my etape entry, so that has to be purchased on line €95.00.

    Note 2 – you will need to purchase Travel/Medical insurance yourself or through onyourbike.ie



    The package includes :-

    – French side airport transfers

    – Overland bike transportation

    – 7 nights 3 star Accommodation

    – All breakfasts

    – Picnic lunches

    – 2 evening meals on Monday 2nd July & Saturday 7th July

    – Cycles with experienced guides and a dedicated support van

    – Transportation to/from L’Etape & to/from registration

    Note - they also fly your bike over to your hotel and back



    The Itinerary:- 12 Alpine Climbs

    - Monday 2nd July arrive at hotel St. Jean Maurienne.(you can descend down to hotel from finish of Etape).

    - Tue 3rd July – cycle the Col du Telegraphe & Col du Galiber

    - Wed 4th July- cycle the Col de la Croix de Fer & La Toussuire

    - Thurs 5th - cycle the Valle du Bujeon & Col de Chaussy

    - Fri 6th July - Rest day

    - Sat 7th July - cycle the Mi-Marmotte or Col du Cucheron

    - Sun 8th July - Etape 144Kms

    - Mon 9th July- Departure to Dublin



    Note:- cyclists can travel and sight see at their own pace, itenary is flexible.
