I am to be shortly opening a holiday chalet and I will be having a FTA satellite receiver.

Is it possible to set a code so that the channels that I set remain and are not "mucked about" by others?

you should be able to back up a channel list to usb.

This will let you reset the channels very quickly if they do get messed up.

there may be a pin code needed to change the settings too.

If you buy a very cheap universal remote from a pound shop or online with only the basic buttons (just power, channels and volume) then there is a good chance there will be no menu buttons for them to go into the settings pages.

Also if they lose or damage the remote you still have the (expensive to replace) manufacturers remote for retuning etc.

    Something like this:

More and more hotels are starting to use them for cost and less problems.
