Returning to Ireland, any state entitlements?

Hi have a friend who is Irish & returning home for good from Thailand She is a single mother who has been living and working 10+ years outside of Ireland but now has a 1yr old child born in Thailand Is there any state benefits she would be entitled to here until she returns to work (part-time or otherwise) as a single mum?
