Just got my nct report back with a fail,a 94 jap import toyota corolla.Failed on rear suspension system, anti roll bar bushes and links-worn.It seems a bit sketchy,is it the kind of worn like a pair of shoes where i could get another year out of them or is it just another rip off 28 euro retest!!.Its a visual defect and got no ranges to judge what point is it worn cause it is driving like new to me ,anyone shed any light, thanks

If its a fail then yes, they need to be changed/repaired and no, its not some kind of rip off/scam to extort more money out of you.

Go get it checked out by a mechanic, show them the NCT report and let them tell you what needs to be done.

It will affect how your car is handling, and is a pretty important part of it.
Its probably one of those cases where the wear has been happening over a long time so you havent noticed, but as soon as its fixed your jammer will feel a lot tighter.
