Am I the only one out there playing MW3 on the Wii?

Got a Wii just for Netflix, then saw MW3 was on it & picked it up.

Yes the graphics are old looking.

But I got one of these....





....and I gotta say, once I took off everything bar the shoulder stock it works for me. As long as you calibrate before you go shooting it's a blast

So how many people out there go on the wii for this?

what you've been met here is the typical cod player. it's a shame really but there's a small minority that are a blight on online gaming.

i played one of the earlier cods on th wii Ithink. some generic ww2 shooter anyway, was fun using the wiimote to throw grenades and was more fun (imo) than using an ordinary console controller to play a shooter

It was a joke, a gentle jibe. If ye are that sensitive, maybe the COD thread isn't the best place to be

The scope isn't that accurate I find. Just finished the campaign on Regular, and what I did was leave the scope, bipod and barrel off, and calibrated the zapper every time I loaded up the game. The Nunchuck is put in so that the joystick is moved by your trigger hand thumb, there's 3 buttons available while aiming, and you twist the whole thing sideways for extra options on the 3 buttons (straight to fire primary, twist left to fire lethal, twist right for tactical). For melee attacks you jab the whole thing forward (think bayoneting)

It can be tricky if you lean a bit in your aiming, many's the time I wanted to scope in & fire but ended up switching weapon as I was being riddled with bullets. But looking down the top of it while the sight pops up over the end as if it was in the real spot is *very* nice.

All in all, yes it's good craic.
