Suunto and Casio G-Shock are pretty much the choice for what your looking for which I assume is a maximum budget of €300.

Yeah, tops of budget is €300. Looking for something that can be used for sports but won't look out of place in casual wear... or at least won't be shouting I'm a sports person! Think the Suunto looks very well.

Steihart looks great but want a digital with heart rate monitor. Went for this Suunto in the end. Looking forward to getting it now!

    Don't overlook polar.
I use a basic version for excersise.
Compatible with most machines. Works perfect woth my C2
The more expensive ones have GPS online stats etc.
    Amazon have the complete range.

Had a look at a couple of Polars but the styling put me off. Wanted something that could be worn casually too.

    I had a Suunto t3c watch.

I bought it purely based on looks. However the watch itself was pretty poor.

The strap would open by itself.
The negative display was very hard to see, especially while running.
The screen was plastic and scratched far too easily.
It eventually died after I left it on while swimming in the sea (completely my fault :o )

I don't think I'd by another Suunto watch, certainly not an expensive one.
