Recommend a watch tool kit?

    Can anyone recommend a watch kit specifically a tool to change bracelets and straps.

    For leather straps (which are pliable) I prefer fingernails ...much less chance of scratching anything.
    Squeeze the strap, catch the springbar with the nail and out it comes ...same for reverse.


    For getting pins out of bracelets a pushpin (with a blunt point) also does a pretty good job. At least you can give that a gentle blow with a hammer, if necessary ...something the Bergeon tool wasn't really designed for.

    I use a Bergeon 6825 pliers for my needs. I picked it up second hand as they are quite expensive.
