Just watched the interview with Marian & Rob on the Late Late. They are a great add for Irish athletics. Able to laugh at themselves also! Great entertainment! Best of luck to both of them in London!

See rob out on the route I am doing tomorrow a good bit. Question regarding social life. Most young couples with kids have not much of a social life like myself. The tent story was pretty funny. There seem like great characters and can see the funny side of it all and don't take themselves too seriously.

They are great with kids anytime I ever see them training when there are kids around.
Rob did a walking session a couple weeks back in CIT with some local kids who were training there. No camera's, no publicity or anything.
the kids loved it and looked like Rob did also.
They are both lovely people and great ambassadors for the sport.
Hope they both have a great season.

Rob is a legend and has been through some tough times with some injuries and lack of funding like most athletes.
Everything seems to be going well for him at the right time.

Most top walkers peak in their mid 30's with the Russians and some other exceptions.

Love this video of Rob from 2000 and 2001.
