    No offence but I think you're barking up the wrong tree in this place...a lot of the lads would be very fond of their rough shooting and appear to be cherishing their permissions.

    well johnny,

    i know there was an estate near delvin in westmeath, (on the meath border near ballivor/longwood) called bracklin. there was game shoots there up to 2 years ago, it got reviews and all in the Shooting Times(decent ones at that). The lad that had it isnt running the shoot any more due to the times were in id imagine.

    there is pleanty of room on the estate for shoots of all types and id imagine that walk up would fit right in it.

    its just the first one that sprang to my head n its in the area your looking for.

    im fairly sure the land is available meaning that there is no gun club claiming the land.

    well hope thats a help. Give us a shout back on this if ur looking for anything else.

    Bout 1300 acres, 300 is bog, a lot is under tillage, nice bit of cover too.

    I know the guy that owns it, he is one of the country's biggest pig farmers, and unless it is definitely worth his while financially he definitely wont be interested.

    * min of 30 birds
    * you need 4-6 lads to cover the area,
    * £22.50 (stg) per bird,
    * mix of different birds,
    * day includs a feed,
    * 20 mins from newry,
    * if you don't have dogs they have some there.

    sounds good but when i live so close to fields full of birds id want to be crazy to hand that money out
