    there was a tiny crowd at their gig in vicar Street last time.
    They are also playing Belfast on June 14

    Yeah, I enjoyed that Vicar Street gig but they didn't pull a big enough crowd unfortunately.

    I'm away mid-June, alas, would love to see them again.

    I'm not all that familiar with the band, having only had a few listens of Charlie Darwin.

    But that was some gig. The sound quality in Whelan's couldn't keep up with the multi-instrumental melodies at times, alas, but to the band's credit even the 'noisier' songs were bustling with energy, enthusiasm and fun. Great contrast between the mellow stuff and the straight-up rock.

    Very impressed, I r!
