Mixed Residential/coomercial property

Does anybody know how I would find a mixed residential and commercial property. A nice georgian building in dublin 2 with residential upstairs and commercial downstairs. Most of the searches don't really show both together!

Also was wondering about shop front and planning required for a beauty therapy clinic, I don't really understand what is involved with adding a glass shop front/pelmet and cosmetic changes to buildings?!

    Thanks!

I assume you want to rent. I don't think you'll find that too often, certainly not in Dublin 2. You will see complete commercial properties, but the upstairs will usually need some work to make it comfortable for residential.

Making changes to fronts of Georgian Buildings is not for the faint-hearted. You are looking at a substantial investment here.

The market seems quite crowded too, be sure to have your market research done. You might also consider taking over an existing premises.
