"rainspotters were transported back to the golden age of rail travel today as a prime specimen of steam engineering thundered through the Yorkshire countryside. Vintage steam trains will be on show along the North Yorkshire Moors Railway after the wheels were put in motion for the Spring Steam Gala, which kicked off with a special outing for the famous Flying Scotsman service. The line will play host to ten different steam engines over the course of two long weekends this month".

Not often one would have the oppertunity to see two together at the same time, If only they had something like that over here,

PS the Flying Scotsman referred to here is the TRAIN not the loco which is currrently the subject of a multi-million rebuild at the York National Railway Museum.
