work experience hours required for fetac level 5

Hi, Could anyone tell me how many hours are required to complete the work experience module in FETAC level 5, I cant seem to find an answer anywhere :confused: thank you

i did one day per week for the duration of my fetac course

It depends on the actual FETAC Certificate you are studying. Childcare Level 5 requires minimum 4 weeks. Other courses require only minimum 2 weeks.

You need to go to www.fetac.ie and look at your Major Award, not the Work Experience. It should specify on the major award how much Work Experience you need to do.

10 days is minimum for passing Fetac level 5 although the colleges have their own rules.
