The question is simple - is it possible to use a Sky Mark IV-type dish on a motor? Note I am not talking about using a Sky box, or asking what the performance would be like... just physically will the brackets fit etc.?

It's possible yes, whether there's any point (in Ireland anyway) is another matter.

Brackets can be bodged but it would be simpler to use a dish that's already designed to mount on a 2" pole and has elevation markings.
