    I just checked their website www.artinaction.ie 5th - 7th May.

Usually held in Drogheda, it was cancelled last year. It is returning this time to Farmleigh, which is dead handy for me. Yay!

No connection but I've always enjoyed visiting their workshops. Thought some here might be interested.

:D I don't look like my avatar! It's great that it's in Farmleigh, great location for it. Loving the variety of classes, it's been an age since I did any jewellry making - might take a look at that class to get me back into it!

Not much into jewellery myself. Enjoy!

Don't know if this is the right place for this-if not-please move.
I was in the Phoenix park in Dublin this morning and there is a three day festival of art on in farmleigh. Lots of practical demonstrations and classes for adults and kids.

I have no connection with it except as a punter. Lots of good stuff painting, ceramic, weaving etc,and most artists seem willing to chat about their work

EDIT: sorry didn't see the thread on art in action already posted

Really enjoyed today but it was bitterly cold. All the classes were on the go and I fed myself at the farmers market to keep warm. Absolutely fab day out. I loved watching the artists paint, the ceramics were amazing. When I was leaving I realised I'd had a smile on my face the whole time, everything was lovely, I didn't get to the talks and the music was starting up as I left so I think I might just pop back again over the weekend to finish off my 'fix'.
