Stay away from them! there are plenty of good cheap second hand guns out there besides buying a yildiz.

hiya i have a 20 bore yildiz and i find it to be an ideal gun to shoot clays

they got nice safety selector nice wood and shoot very good for what im doing maybe 100 in a day dont shoot a lot

if ur gonna be shooting thousands of rounds the go get a beretta or browning pay exorbinate ammounts of money

i paid 500 for mine and its a cracker if it goes wrong it goes wrong parts can be got for it in turkey where it was produced for frankonia in germany
but they canceled the order and company decided to sell to open maket and selling like hot cakes

u could pick up a new one for bout 650 yoyos you wont have a bit of trouble with them

As far as I know their action is constructed from alloy, supposed to get very loose after a few years shooting.
Another Turkish make to avoid is Armed, local RFD showed me a new one he took back that was discharging both barrels together.
Have a look for a good second hand Silma(Italian),nice gun, for about €500,my niece bought a new one for €750,M/C,Ejt,Sst.

Having experienced one Turkish made gun and handled a few others my advice is to run a mile even if you were offered one free. For the same money you'll buy a new Baikal or Lanber or a decent second hand from one of the more expensive makers like Beretta or Browning.

If you were interested in a side by side there's incredible value for them out there at the moment. Quality continental guns can be got for buttons. Even if you would want to go for a side by side Baikal ( that thing is as hardy as your average politicians brass neck ) you should be able to pick one up for less than the cost of a good night out.

Baikal are a solid gun, their only flaw being that they're prone to rust at the joints between the barrels.

Just one example of what you can get for the same money as a new Yildiz

My da had a new side by side yildiz , it broke his heart for the season, safety sticking , miss firing , firing both barrels , the firing pin breaking, ejectors not working , ruined the season for him aswel as been ****ing dangerous to use.

Had one for a year, didn't like it at all. Changed it for a beretta, ****in love it, may never buy another shotgun again.

Try a silma/lumar sirocco, should only be 600 hundred 2nd hand, m/c,ejt, and hardy!

used to have one of these, lovely little game gun for a while, then it started giving me hassle. the two barrels would fire at once. it turns out that this is a common problem with these guns. . .

question is.... how many rounds were you putting thru it....... if i purchase one.... i'd be lucky to put two slabs thru it a year.....

i know a lad that has one hardly ever used and its absolutly falling apart a friend has one uses it for decoying the whole time has it a few years and its perfect i had a lovely sxs yildiz it was a dream to point had it for one season and got rid of it due to too many misfires and not shooting the second barrel ya could be lucky but your prob not gonna be
ya would be better off with a 100 euro baikel

Have a yildiz and a browning cynergy ( i know chalk and cheese) Anyways got the yildiz as new off a local lad that was goin abroad for 150 euro.
He had only 2 boxes put through it. I only use if for foxes and the odd grey or mag. Id have only at most 250 rounds put through. Was goin the finest till last week, 3 misfires from top barrell then saturday came the good old 2 barrells together - scary sh1t:eek::eek:
So my advice is spend the extra hundred or two and buy a decent brand,
not worth loosing a couple off fingers with a burst barrell for the sake off a few quid.

ps if your hell bent on buying one i know where theres one goin cheap!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D

I have one with the last 4/5 years. I think they are a lovely game gun. I can just say what it is like from a game shooting background as I don't shoot clays with it. I have had very few technical problems with it, fired both barrels once and that was it. The one I have is a multi-choke which makes it really good if you are shooting a wide variety of animals.

Judging from the reviews here people have had bad experiences so i guess i got lucky.
