download woes

    i have a download in my download folder, which i somehow managed to arrange to have it opened by windows media player, which cannot do so, is there any way around this, thanks for your help in advance.:mad:

    Right click the file --> Open with --> Choose default program

    If the program the file needs to be opened with isn't in the Recommended Programs section, click the "Browse" button near the bottom. Navigate to the program, and click OK. Uncheck the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" box for now, and click OK again.

    If the program opens the file, repeat the process but make sure that the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" box is checked.
