The clue is in the name, ex-lease. We buy some stuff from them. Mileage, condition and quality of maintenance varies hugely from car to car.

Imagine how frustrating it is for an honest dealer who has about 10 of the following conversations every day:

Customer: What mileage is on the 08 Mondeo?
    Me: 110,000km.
Customer: How much are you looking for it?
    Me: Ten grand.
Customer: How much??? Shure there's one up on the Donedeal for eight and a half with the same mileage.
Me: *Sighs* (while thinking to myself I effing give up.....)

Ill bet, some cars with mileage 150k from country side may be in better condition, when looked after, than cars with with 80 k miles treated as sh1te, with no servicing and driven in city center most of life, with offten start-stop conditions.
two my friends bought cars, one - small mileage, lots trouble versus big mileage, no hassle at all. ...

Big difference between Lease cars and Hire cars. Some lease cars are some of the best minded cars out there.
