    Hi,

I'd like to give an iPhone as a gift to someone. I know that he's with O2 at the moment but is buying an unlocked one from the Applestore website a better gift? Sorry, but I'm a complete luddite and am very grateful for any advice.

    Thanks :)

Yes, absolutely. They can move to any network they like with an unlocked iPhone.....
