Away goals don't count in the playoffs though, so not as difficult a task as it seems IMO.

Well just from an odds perspective. You're almost certainly going to be a decent enough sized underdog, away to a team who've been able to beat you at home. Then accumulate that with winning in the final. Then consider the percentage of teams who actually lose at home in the first leg (bearing in mind that only 50% of teams actually play at home in the first leg).

When you wittle it down like that, it ain't so strange. Probably statistically more likely that it would have happened by now, but not particularly abstract either.

To be fair, they've done pretty much all they could to get us promoted this season. They've kept all the decent players who wanted to stay and have provided a good bit of money to Allardyce to spend. That will more than likely change if we don't go up this season.

West Ham deserved that win. Two very well taken goals from Collison. I'm banking on Blackpool to meet them in the final.

Love the playoffs as a neutral. Detest it when my team is partaking in it though!
