Tax refund after summer working in France?

    Hi all,

I was working in France for three months last summer, and paid tax to the French government. Am I entitled to get a tax refund here?

I was also eligible for some sort of rent allowance (the CAF for anyone who's familiar with France), but couldn't claim for it because I had only a temporary tax number. A co-worker (from Hungary), who filled in a paper application form got the CAF, though (I tried to apply online and it couldn't process the temporary number).

Can anyone help me with this?

You will have to apply to the French tax authorities for any refund you may be due. If no Irish tax has been paid Revenue cannot issue any refund they do not issue tax refunds for other EU states.
